Tuxtrans Linux distribution for translators

Translators need to use some specialized tools as well as a set of software to coordinate and assist them to better translate.

Tuxtrans 

 

is a Linux distributer specially designed for translators built on Ubuntu and uses the XFCEE desktop environment. It contains a wide range of software, tools for translation, formatting and text handling that gives the compiler the ability to do its work efficiently and in line with the latest standards.

Instead of XFCE, the distribution comes with another lightweight built-in interface called fluxbox. Of course, you can install other interfaces like Gnome and KDE if you want, but prefer to use the interface that comes with the distribution because it is fast, practical and suitable for translation purposes,

Toxtrans is supported by 2021 because it is based on version 16.04 of the Ubuntu distributions. It does not require high standards. It has 512 MB of RAM and a Pentium 44 processor with 20GB free space on the hard drive.
